Bio
Caro (*1994) wuchs in Wien auf und lernte dort, wie man gut in der Schule sein könnte, spielte viel Tennis und trug mit großem Respekt verschiedene exzentrische Sehbrillen. Sie zog bewusst für die Schauspielerei nach Berlin und kam über schöne Umwege zur Fotografie. Mit der Serie VISUS, die mit den visuellen Mitteln der Weitsichtigkeit und Wahrnehmung spielt, beendete sie ihr Studium an der Neuen Schule für Fotografie.
Heute arbeitet sie als freie Fotografin und Künstlerin in Berlin, Wien und außerhalb. Ihr Fokus liegt dabei auf Porträts, konzeptueller Street-Photography, Selbstporträts und persönlichen Projekten. Sie sucht nach visuellen Metaphern, die die emotionale Welt beschreiben und versucht auf diesem Wege aufmerksam zu bleiben.
Sie ist Teil des Female Photoclubs und der Internationalen Akademie für Photographie e.V.
Im April 2025 erschien ihr erstes Fotobuch DIE ZONE DER BEHAGLICHKEIT bei dem Verlag Kettler.
Caro (*1994) grew up in Vienna where she learned how she could potentially do well in school, she played a lot of tennis and with great respect wore various eccentric glasses. She deliberately moved to Berlin to pursue acting and because of a series of beautiful events she ended up in photography. She completed her studies at the New School of Photography with the series VISUS, which focusses on the playful display of farsightedness and perception.
Today, she works as a freelance photographer and artist in Berlin, Vienna and outside. Her focus is on portraits, conceptual street photography, self-portraits, and personal projects. She is looking for metaphors that visualize the emotional world and is trying to remain attentive for her surroundings.
She is a member of the Female Photoclub and the International Academy of Photography e.V.
In April 2025 her first photo book, DIE ZONE DER BEHAGLICHKEIT (The Zone of Comfort), was published by Kettler.
