2019-2022
Ein paar Wochen alt öffnete ich zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben die Augen. Zwei Jahre später trug ich eine Brille mit dicken Gläsern, durch die meine Welt klar wurde.
In VISUS (dt.: Sehschärfe) benutze ich die Kamera als direktes und äußerst präzises Übersetzungsinstrument, um zu zeigen, wie ich sehe. Mit spielerischer Neugier nähere ich mich noch einmal meinem Sehen an und erinnere mich an die vielen Male beim Augenarzt und an meine Brillen, die immer ein Blickfang waren.
Sehen wir denn alle das gleiche oder bilden wir uns das nur ein?
A few weeks old, I opened my eyes for the first time. Two years later I wore thick glasses that made my vision clear.
In VISUS (English: visual acuity), I use the camera as a direct and extremely precise tool of translation to show how I see. With playful curiosity, I approach my vision once again and had to think of the many times I went to the eye doctor and of how my glasses were always an eye-catcher.
Are we all seeing the same world, or do we just imagine that we do?
