After a few weeks I opened my eyes for the first time in my life. Two years after I wore glasses with thick lenses and through them my world was finally clear.
In my work VISUS (engl.: visual acuity) I am using the camera as a direct and extremely precise tool of translation and showing how I see. With playful curiosity I approach my vision once again and I'm remembering moments of my childhood and adolescence when I spent a lot of time at eye doctors and attracted a little bit of attention with my own glasses.
I ask the question whether we all see the same or if we just imagine it to be the same.
